Horsens Art Museum presents Lars Nørgård’s solo exhibition Morphine. In the exhibition you are able to experience new paintings and sculptures by the artist, and also hundreds of paintings created over the last 15 years. The artworks are abstract in form and expression. Besides the exhibition, Horsens Art Museum will publish a catalogue of Lars Nørgård’s artworks.

Lars Nørgård plays an important role in Horsens Art Museum’s collection. Morphine is Lars Nørgårds sixth exhibition at Horsens Art Museum. In connection with the exhibition, Horsens Art Museum acquired the two paintings Black Sheep and Birds Talk both from 2015. The acquisition was generously supported by Ny Carlsbergfondet.
