Exhibition period: March 7 – October 25, 2026

Horsens Kunstmuseum presents a major solo exhibition featuring new works by Erik A. Frandsen. With the exhibition Hjemfald, ( Reversion) visitors will have the opportunity to experience the artist working on monumental painting formats measuring 4 x 5 meters. In addition, the exhibition presents a series of new, smaller mosaics that interact with the large-scale paintings.

Erik A. Frandsen (b. 1957) is a highly significant artist in Horsens Kunstmuseum’s collection. Through both acquisitions and exhibitions, the museum has followed his work closely over the past 40 years.

Erik A. Frandsen’s solo exhibition at Horsens Kunstmuseum marks a distinct moment within an ongoing, highly active, and evolving artistic practice.

The project has received substantial support from Augustinus Fonden, 15. Juni Fonden, and Beckett Fonden.
